Experiences around Wasser, Wind und Stahl
Memora of an ephemeral work
Bernard Garo and Pierre-Alain Bertola, active in the creation of the spectacle Wasser, Wind und Stahl, pursue their work on a new field of meeting, the painted paper on prepared wood, an unusual artistic mean for them to work with.
In similarity with the structure of the spectacle, it is a duality, an undoubling of arts. The encounter between Garo / Bertola endure on the walls of the gallery, in a four-handed work on original supports, such as a live memory of the exceptional energy which came out at the Far festival. Another aspect of this work will be revealed at the occasion of the Days of Patrimony on September 12th and 13th, 2009. It is also an unusual encounter between two plasticians, who open an unknown field of research, which base is the identity and the portrait. In terms of generosity of the artists who have accepted to take risks and devote themselves to this experience, we invite you to read the intense and innovative scenography they accomplished in the gallery, and to share unique instants with them.
